Organizational changes

Martin Benjamin Skaaning Hansen came to work for the shipyard in May 2022 where he was employed as Business Development Manager. Martin has worked closely together with Roar Thomsen establishing good customer relations and he will now take over this task completely. Martin has a Master Mariner and Marine Engineering background and has both sailed as Chief officer on Oil and Chemical tankers, and has for the last 10 years also worked on various Ship Owner and Ship Manager offices.

Roar Thomsen resigns the role as Chief Sales Officer after nearly 31 years at Søby Shipyard. Roar has been working as purchaser and later Chief Sales Officer, but now he wishes to take a more withdrawn role at the shipyard. Roar will not leave the shipyard completely but will be working on a rebuilding project of Søby school. The school has been purchased by the shipyard to be renovated, so it can accommodate customers and subcontractors visiting the Shipyard.
